Linez is a cooperative game installation that counters that traditional competitive nature of arcade games. Two players choose from an array of colored balls where they will launch from their current location, leaving a trailing line behind. Gameplay progresses like this until one player accidentally crosses the other's line, at which point both players "win at art!" The system takes a picture of the composed screen and immediately prints it out via an attached printer, thus creating a collectible one-time artwork of the shared experience, where competition is discouraged and having an open dialogue during gameplay helps to extend the playable time.
